"Some Guy Who Kills People" was recently accepted into the very prestigious festival, Fantasporto, in Portugal at the end of February.
We were all geared up and ready to go, when we learned they could no longer accept the format in which we had our film. Without the budget to transfer our film to 35mm, we were forced to back out of Fantasporto 2011.
However, the festival administrators told us that, next year, they'd be able to accommodate our ghetto format (Digibeta). So, our film is now scheduled to play Fantasporto 2012. Our trip to Portugal has been delayed, but we greatly appreciate their desire to show the film and we look forward to next year.
In the meantime, we hope the film will be playing other festivals across the world, so keep an eye an out...
